The gallery participated in the 2025 edition of Art Cologne as part of the presentation booth organized by Art Palma Contemporani, curated by Francesco Giaveri alongside the other member galleries of the association.
Representing the gallery, the works of Jack Burton were presented, featuring two recent pieces, Ideas and Titles i and Ideas and Titles ii, part of his latest solo exhibition, CYNIC’S BEDTIME, at Tube Gallery.
These works stem from the artist’s intention to turn a year’s worth of written ideas and titles into tangible material to photograph and interact with. The original text file, where these thoughts were collected, reads like a beat poem gone off track—a chain of non sequiturs, somewhere between a to-do list and a hallucinatory piece of automatic writing.
To preserve the same sense of productive randomness in physical form, Burton chose to use dice, printing each phrase or title on one of their faces. When rolled or stacked, the dice generate ever-shifting constellations of meaning, where a title like “Nationalist Yoga” might land next to a note like “shredded photos like sawdust on the floor and in boxes.”
During the fair, it was also announced that Palma de Mallorca will become the new host city for Art Cologne, with its first edition taking place at the Palau de Congressos in April 2026.
