Nancy Allen

Nancy Allen (b. 1992, Cambridge, U.K.), currently lives and works in London. M.A. graduated from Royal Academy Schools, B.A. graduated from Sculpture at Wimbledon College of Art. Taking visual language of objects and their relationship to the human body as a starting point, Nancy’s works are drawn extensively from daily goods as main material for creation. Familiar objects are cut, collaged and subverted, re-presented in a playful and dramatic mimicry until they transcend the context of universal perception.
